Week 6

Spiritual - scripture mastery, have one memorised by the end of the week. One you don't already know.

Mental - research again, a veggie that isn't part of your regular diet find out why it's good and a meal you want to eat that it's part of. Also try out that homemade item from last week.

Physical - 2L of water everyday!

Week 5

Spiritual - Every time you pray this week think of a creature comfort that you enjoy and thank The Lord. Each thing you choose make sure you ponder it for a while. Eg tonight I'm going to be thankful for car suspension, how different my drive home would have been, what a blessing that The Lord inspires men to invent!

Mental - Research! Find out how to make a household cleaner or body product from home or natural ingredients. I'm going to research shampoo! Make sure it's something you are going to want to try out. Next week will be making it.

Physical - up the water to 1.5L per day

Week 4

Spiritual - What was your favourite conference talk? Reread it and share.

Mental - Can you explain what the following terms are to someone who doesn't know? Conjunction, preposition, compound word, interjection, pronoun.

Physical - check your water intake and make sure that you are drinking at least a litre a day get it down pat this week we are going to up it by 1/2 litre for the next two weeks.

Week 3

Sorry I'm late but we have welcomed a new member into our family this weekend and he has been consuming a fair bit of time. Buddy Morgan the 9 week old shoodle.

Spiritual - read Desire by Dallin H. Oaks, I used a quote from this talk in the introduction

Mental - continuing with resensitising this week pay attention to what you are watching and what you considering is acceptable in regards to language.

Physical - we are building upon water, this week lets wake up with water! First thing everyday before you put anything else into your body have a glass of water.

Don't forget to build up each week so this means you will still need to be considering what you eat and having a glass of water before you snack.

Week 2

Spiritual - This weeks read is "Lessons from Laman and Lamuel"

Mental - so this week is "resensitising" (note: not a real word). I thought music would be a good way to start, so it's time to turn your ears back on. Pay attention to what you are listening too, what are the lyrics really saying? What tone are they using? Are the songs about? Are we just listening to the tune and not paying attention to what we are allowing into our mind? How is your mind reacting to what you here? 

Physical - now lets take what we did last week one step further, remember you can choose one day off. Keep paying attention to what you are eating but now when you want a snack and  it's not "fuel" have a drink of water first.

Week 1

Mental - think about the times table that you were worst at, this week practice it until you can recall it out of sequence. Put which number you choose in the comments.

Physical - this week is about awareness. Take time to think about what you are eating each day, don't change anything, but consider how you treat your body. Are you fuelling yourself and respecting your body as the gift of God that it is or do you yield to the natural man and put whatever you "feel" like into it without much thought. I'm somewhere in the middle, well kinda middle closer to feel, anyway. I suggest keep a food diary so you can really see what's going on. 

Side Note: try not to make excuses, it is easier to say (this is me, if you can relate its coincidental) - well both my sisters went into labour the same day and it got really hectic so it is not a true reflection of how I eat. Life is always busy and if you eat worse when your busy just make a note, it will be useful to know later.
